Specifications include, but are not limited to: Hay Yard Gates, to be constructed based on the following criteria. 1. Size: Six (6) feet high x twelve (12) feet long. Materials: 2. Framework – 1 5/8 inch galvanized pipe, SS 15 wt. or better. To include centered horizontal pipe brace of same diameter and weight. 3. Truss Rod – 3/8 inch galvanized rod attached diagonally from upper “hinge side” to lower “gate end” corner. Rod must have four (4) inches of thread, minimum, on one end of rod for adjustment. 4. Fence Material – Six (6) feet high, 11 1/2 gauge galvanized chain link fencing material. Attached to framework. 5. Hinges – Two (2) per gate, galvanized pin type female bracket, male J-bolt, 5/8 inch diameter, 12 inch length, threaded, to include four (4) washers and nuts. 6. Latch/Catch – Plated 5/16 inch chain, eighteen (18) inches long, one per gate. Chain to be welded to gate end, in line with centered horizontal pipe brace. 7. All materials shall be galvanized. All welds to be covered with a spray-on type galvanized coating. 8. Please review illustration on the following page. 9. Bid total shall include all parts, materials, labor and delivery charges.
