Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Work to ensure counties continue to adhere to the standards the ITD has put in place regarding cabling, networking equipment, and security and to implement these standards when facilitating projects in the counties. • Provide a relationship with counties and vendors that maintains NDACo. as their contact each time they are working in a county. Monitor and log county networking so that a base of information on each county is available to state agencies and vendors. • Educate counties and their vendors on the processes of properly connecting to STAGEnet, and configurations of networking equipment to do so. • Develop, implement, and manage the process for counties to obtain IP addresses, IP printers, Mainframe ID’s, removing old terminal and printer definitions, and e-mail accounts. Assist in obtaining and maintaining the correct people on the appropriate state distribution lists and seeing that their old accounts get deleted from existing distribution lists, and notify the ITD when any old e-mail accounts can be deleted. • Provide centralized services to counties so they can obtain and remove static IP addresses, Mainframe IDs, T-Printer IDs, ND.GOV Active Directory accounts, VPN access, Marriage License IDs, and ND.GOV e-mail accounts (POP or Exchange). • Help to maintain county e-mail distribution lists on State servers. Make adds/changes/delete requests on behalf of counties, when advised by the county. • Provide centralized services to counties to managed ND.GOV Active Directory account lockouts and password changes.
