Specifications include, but are not limited to: Printing Admitted Student Portfolio & Insert. 1. General: These are critical color pieces with 4 color process and spot gloss varnish on both sides of each piece. Spot gloss varnish “fits” to photos on both sides. In addition, there are variable data imprints, printing in black ink on both sides of the portfolio only. The variable data prints in the box on the front and on the “card” on the inside. The variable data is common to each portfolio front and back, changes with each portfolio printed and doesn’t “fit” to printed matter. See Attachment A for copy of PDF files. Scores for portfolio are all single rule scores, not “box” scores. The insert is generic, that is, there are no variable data imprints on the insert. 2. Artwork: Electronic PDF files, printer ready. 3. Proofs: Contract color proofs of portfolio, plus color laser of portfolio indicating folds, die cut, scores, trim, etc. 4. Final size: 9” x 6”. Flat size is 19” x 11.5”. 5. Paper Stock: 80# Avon brilliant white, Classic Laid cover, or equivalent. 6. Ink: Print 4+V/4+V, four color process, plus spot gloss varnish, both sides, full bleeds. 7. Variable data: Imprint first and last name in areas indicated, in black ink. Names must match for each piece (front to back). Files are from an Excel spreadsheet (furnished). 8. Finishing: Imprint variable data on each side of portfolio, die cut and score portfolio, collate and insert one Admitted Student Insert into a portfolio, final fold portfolio to 9” x 6”.
