Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Delaware Department of Correction (DDOC) seeks to award a professional services contract for a Chaplain to facilitate department-wide religious services, religious counseling and pastoral care serving 2,600 DDOC employees on a scheduled basis (29.5 hours per week).1. Plans, coordinates, and conducts religious services such as communion, confession and funerals; 2. Plans and schedules religious programs and instructions provided by community volunteers; 3. Counsels department staff on a regular basis and in times of crisis; 4. Ensures moral and spiritual support on a consistent and emergency basis; 5. Maximizes benefits of volunteer programs; and 6. Participates with other staff professionals to provide holistic care.
