Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Texas General Land Office (the GLO) invites Requests for Proposals from Construction Contractors to provide construction services for rehabilitation, reconstruction or new construction of residential structures in compliance with local, Federal and State statutory requirements for grants under the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) disaster recovery grant program for Hurricanes Ike and Dolly and the Bastrop Wildfires. The GLO is reissuing this construction services solicitation in order to create a supplemental vendor pool to the existing pool of vendors in order to service current and future disasters. This supplemental pool will be utilized in the event that additional residential construction capacity is required for the disaster events listed above as well as for future disaster events. Construction projects could include single family homes or multi-unit residential structures.
