Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project is the proposed completion of the Academic Center at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. The project will be completed as Phase II. Phase I was the construction of the new -three-story Academic Center, and the build-out of the first floor. That project was completed at the end of 2011. This Request for Qualifications for Construction Manager-at-Risk is for the entire Phase II project. The Phase II project will be divided into three (3) separate stages of work: Finish-out of the 3rd floor, Finish-out of the 2nd floor, and Upgrades to the Central Energy Plant. The Anticipated Notice to Proceed for Construction for all three (3) stages of work is 09/18/2012. The GMP package will be based on 100% CDs for the 3rd Floor, 100% DDs for the 2nd Floor and 100% DDs for the upgrades to the Central Energy Plant. The Anticipated Substantial Completion for all three (3) stages of work is 04/19/2013. The finish-out of the 3rd floor includes a research library, an advanced electronic 187 seat auditorium, classrooms, conference rooms and catering facilities. The finish-out scope of work generally includes interior partitions, ceilings, corridors, doors and frames, fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical IT, interior finishes, toilet rooms and equipment installation. The 100% Construction Documents and Specifications for the 3rd floor will be ready to issue on 07/31/2012. Acceptance of a GMP and a Notice to Proceed for Construction Phase Services for the 3rd floor finish-out will be expected to be approved within thirty (30) days of the signed Agreement. Anticipated Substantial Completion for the 3rd floor is 04/19/2013
