Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center that a Request for Proposal (R.F.P.) will be solicited for renovation and new construction projects in Houston, Smithville, and Bastrop, Texas that require test, adjust, and balancing services in order to establish a specific project scope of work and associated fee. GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES The actual scope of services solicited under an individual Request for Proposal will vary from project to project according to specific project requirements. In general, however, the anticipated scope of services for contracts associated with this R.F.Q. is expected to include, but not necessarily be limited to: Checking, adjusting, and balancing components of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Reviewing project documents (design and construction phases) and rendering evaluations. Acting as liaison between the Owner, Architect and Contractor during the balancing process and advising the same of any conditions preventing balancing of the HVAC systems as designed. Surveying, measuring and documenting existing system and component conditions. Technical investigations, feasibility studies, and other professional reports Other services as may be necessary to address specific project need
