Specifications include, but are not limited to: Specifications for Chiller Annuals 1. All chiller annuals performed in the District will be coordinated with the HVAC supervisor. All service reports will be emailed within 1 week of completion. 2. All technicians will be OEM certified with proof of certification of training through the manufacturers training regarding the chiller/s they work on. Submit Certificate. 3. Minimum of 5 years OEM certified experience as a journeyman technician for specific chillers. See page 4 for details. 4. All technicians must have universal EPA certification and registered HVAC technician with Texas Dept of License and reg. regarding chiller up to 400 tons and above. Submit documented proof. 5. All technicians must be identified with their company name and further identified with a CISD picture ID from the CISD Police Dept. Contractor must have a uniform. 6. All technicians/contractors must check in with each school building front office and provide a driver’s license for each visit before any service to chillers are performed. 7. All technicians/contractors will provide service manuals to the HVAC supervisor for the chiller/s they will be servicing. 8. All chillers that have oil filters will be replaced without exception by technician. 9. Oil analysis will be taken for each chiller and related compressor circuits by technician. 10. All chillers will be tested for operation and measured against OEM specifications by technician. 11. All amps, volt readings, suction readings, discharge readings, superheat, sub cooling temp for leaving and entering chilled water must be documented in a typed report format by technician. 12. All condenser coils will be cleaned per OEM specifications by technician. 13. Any problems that have been identified will be documented with a described remedy and cost to repair. Reports will be typed and emailed to HVAC supervisor by technician. 14. All electrical connections will be verified and secured by technician such as tightening connections per OEM specifications. 15. All controls and mechanical parts in chiller displays will be verified for proper ops that includes calibration by technician.
