SCOPE: In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 2267 Subchapter D, Competitive Sealed Proposal Method, and Rules and Procedures adopted by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC is soliciting proposals for Construction Services for the conversion and associated renovation of the Houston Regional TXDPS Headquarters (HQ) building located at 12230 West Road, Houston, Texas 77065, (formerly a laboratory building) into office space. The work at the 11,000 square foot facility includes: an interior remodel, associated parking accessibility improvements, roofing replacement/repair of the single story portion of the building. Demolition, salvage and re-use and subsequent new construction includes but is not limited to the following: excavation of landscape formwork concrete curb and gutter structural steel concrete paving and sub-base parking striping carpet resilient flooring and wall base ceramic tile metal stud drywall partitions, CMU partitions doors, frames, door hardware glass and glazing operable partition and required associated structure millwork suspended acoustical tile ceiling systems suspended gypsum board ceilings electrical power, lighting, and associated controls conduit for Owner installed telecommunications and data systems fire detection and fire alarm devices HVAC supply and exhaust systems, heating hot water piping, HVAC control systems, fire suppression systems plumbing fixtures, associated supply and wastewater lines toilet accessories toilet partitions and mechanical HVAC equipment.
