Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Provide labor and materials for the removal and installation of two (2) R-410AHVAC systems as described herein. 2.All work is to be scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 AM Â 5 PM. After-hours or Saturdays shall be at the discretion of the Contractor and must be approvedwith the City Project Manager prior to scheduling the work. 3.If accepted, the Owner will incorporate the `Alternates' in the order which they appear in these specifications. 4.The Contractor will make a thorough inspection of the job site where the units areto be installed. A thorough examination of these specifications should be made soas to be informed of the nature of the work, labor conditions or any other mattersthat may affect the cost and time completion of the work. 5.The Contractor will examine all surfaces or documents and report to the CityProject Manager any conditions detrimental to the work to be performed. 6.No used or damaged materials will be allowed. A 24-hour notice is to be given tothe City Project Manager prior to any equipment being delivered to the site, orany existing units being disconnected. Each existing unit is to be removed fromthe site and replaced with fully operational new unit within the same day. 7.A request for using any "Approved Equal" must be submitted to purchasing bythe Question Submittal date deadline. The Request for Substitution form (found atthe end of this document) must be used to submit your request. The City willevaluate all requests and will either approve or disapprove each submittal and willnotify all registered vendors of these decisions four (4) calendar days prior to bidopening
