Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a competitive contract for procuring HVAC water treatment service and supplies for Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD). It is the responsibility of the awarded Contractor(s) to maintain a comprehensive, reliable water treatment program for HVAC equipment described in this specification. The Contractor(s) shall furnish all chemicals to control corrosion, scale and organic growth within hot water and steam boilers, closed chilled water loops and open condenser water loops. This agreement is inclusive of chemicals, test equipment, monthly inspections, and technical support to maintain the HVAC machinery and the associated peripheral equipment in good operating condition. Under the terms of this agreement the Contractor(s) is responsible for all laboratory/technical consultation support to ensure life cycle cost effectiveness.
