Specifications include, but are not limited to: The demolition and renovation scope will be approximately 2100 GSF of the existing space in the Second Level / Roof of J Building for the Animal Research Department. This space will require the demo and removal including but not limited, to existing flooring, base, walls, ceilings, ductwork, plumbing piping, lights, doors, door frames, gas piping, plumbing fixtures, restroom accessories, fire extinguishers, all wall mounted equipment and brackets, walk off mats, fire sprinklers, fire alarm devices, HVAC equipment, electrical equipment, chilled and hot water piping, coordination of demo for asbestos containing materials, sanitary piping, underground piping, electrical receptacles, lighting, switches, smoke detectors, all A/V devices and equipment, security devices and equipment, electrical panels, medical gases, disconnects, electrical transformers, J-boxes, plywood paneling, electrical conduit, all wiring, all switches, and telephone as shown on the drawings. The space will require new construction of but not limited to: walls, ceilings, MEP systems, medical gas, flooring, millwork, structural concrete walls, floors, and ceilings, painting, testing, commissioning, coordination of equipment requirements with vendors, new accessories, fire alarm, controls, as shown on the drawings. Contractor (GC) to furnish all of the labor, the materials, the tools, the equipment, the services and the supervision required to complete the demolition and renovation scopes of work per the Contract Documents dated November 16, 2010.
