Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Houston Housing Authority is seeking bids from qualified and properly licensed HVACcontractors for a 7.5 ton cooling system and a 5 ton back up cooling system. The condensers willbe placed on the rooftop of a 4 story building. The contractor will also remove and dispose ofthe current 5 ton rooftop condenser unit.The rooftop HVAC equipment cools the Information Technology computer server room for theHouston Housing Authority. These units and parts must be commercial grade. The parts must beavailable on a 24 hours notice from a local supplier where the units were purchased.A dedicated HVAC system for the server room must be designed with commercial grade,professional quality replacement components that can handle heavy operational use. Thisincludes all weather conditions, power supply issues that may change power supply to the unit,and access to unit parts, supplies, fans, fan blades, controls, compressor, blower motors, etc.
