Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide training to its professional staff relating to an auditing update. The OSA wishes to contract with a vendor with expertise in the field of governmental auditing and experience with group presentations. The vendor will conduct 16 hours of Continuing Professional Education. Contents of the proposed CPE will be an important part of our evaluation of proposals. Topics could include: • Audit efficiencies. • Auditing standards review (GAAS and GAS). • Recent Auditing standards. • Changes on the horizon, including Government Auditing Standards. The training will occur in Bismarck North Dakota prior to December 31, 2017. The vendor will provide dates that are available for training. To be eligible for the contract the OSA must be able to find adequate training facilities on the dates proposed by the vendor. For this type of training the OSA normally invites outside people to help offset costs. Planned attendance is 100 or less participants.
