Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Assemble/verify a list of existing electricity accounts for the proposed contract 2. Work with State agencies, county and municipal governments to assemble utility service accounts for the contract 3. Prepare several tranches of similar rate classes for purchasing 4. Prequalify electricity suppliers 5. Assist OMB/DFM in reviewing contract requirements and terms 6. Prepare and execute a procurement strategy (such as sealed bids or reverse auction) 7. Assist OMB/DFM in determining the best proposal(s) 8. Assist OMB/DFM during the contract term (managing accounts, adding new accounts, etc.) 9. Provide similar services above for other energy sources such as natural gas. 10. Assist OMB/DFM in implementation of utility supply or demand side response and management programs.
