Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Delaware State University Foundation (hereinafter referred to as University) seeks professional services of a fund development contractor or consultant to support its efforts in raising funds for its strategic priorities and in supporting stewardship efforts with specific donors to the University Foundation. The philanthropic consulting will provide donor/gift advice and counsel, leadership in the development of strategic fundraising initiatives, participation in donor and staff meetings, staff and /or volunteer training, and related services. The consultant will work with fundraising staff to design both programmatic and individual fundraising strategies geared toward the identification, qualification, solicitation and stewardship of major and principal gifts that meet priority funding needs of the University.
