Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to perform exploratory drilling, drill hole casing and other associated work on Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) sites. These AML sites contain abandoned underground lignite coal mines and are located near Roseglen, Parshall, Noonan, Foxholm and Burlington, North Dakota. The following is the general location of each proposed exploratory drilling site; however, work may be conducted at other sites. The 2017 Exploratory Drilling AML Project includes areas along state and county highways and adjacent township roads as shown on the maps on pages 37-42 and as further described: Roseglen South: Drilling will be done along 21st Street NW between Sections 17 and 20, T149N, R87W, and a farmstead in Section 17, approximately 2 miles south of Roseglen. Shell Lake: Drilling will be done around a farmstead in Section 17, T154N, R89W, approximately 14 miles north of Parshall. Noonan: Drilling will be done in the right of way of County Road 21, Section 9, R162N, R95W, approximately one mile south of Noonan.
