Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Remove two existing 10 ton heat pumps with electric reheat located on the roof of the singlestory building. 2. Install two heat pump units. 3. The existing dedicated two ton computer cooling unit will not be replaced. 4. Provide manuals at time of delivery written in English a) Service Manual: Two sets b) Operations and instructions: Two sets 5. Remove existing exposed duct from roof. 6. Install new exterior ducts where necessary or advisable and per Code. 7. Reestablish a disconnect for the new Units compliant with the Code. 8. Install condensate piping to the roof to drain the units per Code. 9. Install roof curbs and all necessary curbing for duct transition. 10. Tie the ducts into the roof curbs to alleviate potential roof leaks. 11. Seal the units with sealant or caulk as necessary or advisable and per Code. 12. Provide crane and rigging. 13. Provide all necessary electrical, drain, and construction work necessary to completely remove and install the new units. 14. Setting the Units in Place: a) Secure to roof, if necessary b) Level c) Adjust d) Calibrate e) Make final hook-ups to electrical, and gas connections if any, which will be brought to within three feet ofthe location f) Startup of equipment: Verify that the units are functioning in accordance with these specifications, manufacturer specifications, and Code. 15. Assist CUD in obtaining all available rebates, including but not limited to Austin Energy, manufacturer or other rebates. If necessary to obtain any rebate, Contractor shall schedule a City of Austin mechanical inspector and be on-site when that inspector arrives and during that inspection. 16. Pricing must include all necessary permits and all necessary equipment which affects the scope of the solicitation. 17. Provide an estimate of the time required to install the Units. 18. Provide a primary point of contact. 19. During the warranty period, the Contractor must provide a telephone number monitored 24 hours per day, seven days per week to contact for HVAC maintenance and repair services. A Contractor shall be on call with a minimum two-hour response time. 20. Respond verbally to the designated CUD representative within two hours of a service call being placed. Have HVAC personnel on-site within four hours of service call being placed unless other arrangements are agreed to by the designated CUD representative.
