Specifications include, but are not limited to:Functional Requirements All signage required to properly direct users in continued use of park facilities in a safe and orderly fashion during construction shall be furnished by the contractor. General Equipment Requirements: 1. All play equipment must meet the current ASTM, CPSC, ADAAG, and IPEMA guidelines. Third-party certification (i.e., IPEMA) shall be submitted with bid. Evidence of compliance for all components contained within proposed designs will be reviewed during the selection process prior to award. 2. All designs shall illustrate each component name and part number. 3. 5-inch O.D. aluminum or steel support posts for all composite structures and swings. 4. Crawl tunnels and tunnel slides shall be a minimum of 30 inches in diameter. 5. Equipment fall heights shall not exceed 10 feet. 6. Hardware shall be tamper-resistant stainless steel. 7. Heavy rubber wear mats beneath all belt swings. The proposed play sites will have dimensional requirements listed and mapped out. 3.02 Sites All sites are to be a combination or hybrid systems incorporating both traditional and nontraditional climbing or net systems. Each of the sites must have a unique design. The scope of the playgrounds will need to include the following features but not limited to: Site A—Bakker
