Specifications include, but are not limited to: EOD Suit The modular EOD suit shall be light weight, flexible and designed to balance blast protection and mobility. The Bomb Technician must be able to wear a standard issue cooling vest with the EOD suit. All components, including leg protectors, thigh protectors, ballistic shorts, lower arm protectors and plates, must be re-attachable by operators while deployed down range. The ensemble must provide a stereophonic speaker system to assist the wearer with determining the direction of a source of sounds outside the suit. The ensemble must provide a visual and audio warning of low battery levels. The ensemble must be Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) Compliant. The ensemble must provide some type of integrated ventilation system to reduce the heat on the wearer’s body and the level of flow adjustable. All functions of the suit must be powered from a single rechargeable power source integrated into the suit
