Specifications include, but are not limited to: Providing off site laundry services with exclusively rented linen owned by the vendor as follows: 1. A set is what each resident needs to use in one 24-hour period and varies with the person. The vendor must be able to meet resident needs that may fluctuate from time to time, and respond to requests to increase daily stock in a reasonable fashion. 2. The proposal shall be based on the current census of the facility which is currently 54 beds and licensed for 60 beds in an ICF/IDD setting. It is expected that the census will remain stable. The daily stocked supply (1 par or 1 set) for the center at this time is: 80 full flat sheets; 150 pillow cases; 325 towels; 800 washcloths; 150 Terry bibs with Velcro closure; 20 cotton sheet bath blankets; 60 full contour sheets; 150 under bed pads; 100 washable impervious hamper bags. These quantities reflect supply numbers that have met our needs satisfactorily and would not be expected to change significantly. Any vendor selected could be asked to expand their services to other divisions within the Department of Health and Social Services. 3. Provide a minimum of 3 sets of clean towels, washcloths, full flat sheets, under bed pads, terry bibs with velcro closure, full contour sheets, and pillow cases for each resident at all times plus 3 extra sets on Fridays to cover each weekend. These will be stored and distributed to the residents by Stockley Center staff.
