Specifications include, but are not limited to:Sam Houston State University (“SHSU” or “University” herein), through this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is seeking a qualified contractor(s) to provide “as needed” HVAC ( heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) Services on both the main Sam Houston State University Campus in Huntsville, Texas (including Gibbs Ranch, Biological Sciences Center for Biological Field Studies and The University Camp), The Woodlands Center Campus in The Woodlands, Texas and any other location determined by the University under a Unit Price Contract (“Contract” herein). The contract shall begin on or before February 15, 2017 ending August 31, 2018 with an option to renew annually for up to six (6) additional years (September 1st to August 31st) with a total cost over the life of the Contract not to exceed $1,000,000.00 (one million dollars). The services requested shall conform, at a minimum, to the Basic Services detailed in Sections D. Interested companies (“Proposers”, “Vendor”, or “Contractor” herein) are requested to submit proposals (“Proposals”). Proposer is to provide all labor, equipment, and coordination required to complete the “as needed” HVAC services in accordance with the specifications contained in this RFP. SHSU reserves the right to make one or more awards under this contract that will serve the best interests of the University.
