Specifications include, but are not limited to: The state of North Dakota, acting through the North Dakota State Council on Developmental Disabilities (STATE) is soliciting proposals to procure a vendor who will create an innovative program to prepare individuals with disabilities, ages 18-21, for transition into the workforce. The grantee will create the program by seeking out individuals, ages 18-21, to participate, find job sites in the community based on individual’s interests, train the employer on the needs of the individual at work, include assistive technology at the job site as needed, and train the individuals at the job. The work may be accomplished during/after school hours, be pre-vocational training, occur on the weekends, etc.
