Specifications include, but are not limited to: Procuring quality optometry services for the offenders/juveniles in the custody of the DOCR. STATE covers optometric services and eyeglasses under and allows recipients a variety of vision care diagnostic, dispensing, and repair services on a provider fee-for-service basis. The STATE utilizes a contract held by the North Dakota Department of Human Services to furnish optometric materials to inmates/juveniles. Classic Optical Laboratories, Inc. provides specific frame styles to inmates/juveniles. Each facility has frame options for inmates/juveniles to select from. The optometrist shall complete the DOCR Classic Optical Eyeglass Order Form for each set of frames/lenses ordered. When the eyeglasses are received from Classic Optical, the optometrist shall perform any necessary fittings and adjustments to the eyeglasses.
