Specifications include, but are not limited to: An asbestos survey of the building was completed on June 24, 2015 by Tetra Tech, and is included in the attachment. Abatement includes air monitoring and the removal and proper disposal of the following items (costs itemized per line item should include air monitoring, removal/disposal, and final air clearance in the price): 1. Friable gray/white 2”-4” (TSI) pipe insulation and associated mudded joints - associated with mechanical system piping in wall chases, crawlspaces, and above ceilings in the basement (approximately 350 linear feet); 2. Friable gray (TSI) insulation – associated with basement pipe penetrations (approximately 150 linear feet); 3. Non-friable tan/gray/brown 9” by 9” vinyl floor tile (associated mastic does not contain asbestos) - located on concrete in basement Laundry Room B01 (approximately 325 square feet); 4. Non-friable tan 12” by 12” vinyl floor tile (associated mastic does not contain asbestos) - located on concrete in main floor of the original 1962 building (approximately 15,400 square feet).
