Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Transportation Solution, Right of Way Section is responsible for the developing of Master Plan for the Testing, Sampling, and Abatement of asbestos material. The consultant will report to the Director of Right of Way or his assigned designate in the Right of Way Section. All assignment will be from the Asbestos Project Manager and will be on an “on-call” contract, meaning that the consultant could be asked to sample, test and abate numerous properties during the life of the contract. The consultant must demonstrate full knowledge, skill and abilities in the following areas: • Asbestos sampling • Specification writing • Assistance in selection of abatement firms • Monitoring abatement activities • Preparation of reports • Sampling & Testing of lead paint • Sampling and Testing for Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP)
