Specifications include, but are not limited to: The STATE is soliciting proposals for POS Software. Provide cash drawer/till/batch/shift management solution so that in-park staff can reconcile the actual cash/check/credit card on hand at the end of a shift to the POS system. Ability to group multiple cash drawers/tills/batches/shifts into one “deposit” that matches the deposit that is being brought to the bank. Provide till closing capability for front line staff at end of shift where the cashier is unaware of the expected closing balance Ability to charge appropriate sales/use tax at each sales location, including but not limited to: state tax, county tax (various), city tax (various), and any other special tax that is required. New taxes may need to be applied in a timely manner to conform to state law. Tax must apply based on either: location of the transaction, or, location where the service will be used. Ability to accommodate foreign currency, i.e. Canadian currency.
