Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lamar University ("University") is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals ("Proposal") for selection of one or more responsive and responsible HVAC Suppliers/Installers, at the sole discretion of University and as determined to be in the best interest of the University, to provide the described HVAC Services ("Work") on the University’s campus in Beaumont, TX. Lamar University is seeking an HVAC firm to replace (36) 2 ton R22 evaporator and condenser units at Morris Hall with (36) 2 ton 410 evaporator and condenser units. The existing condensers shall be pumped down by the awarded vendor and removed to a site determined by Lamar University. The existing condensers with the R22 will remain the property of Lamar University. Contractor Shall: Properly dispose of evaporator’s and all debris. Furnish and install (36) 14 SEER, R410, 2 ton condenser units. Furnish and install (36) ceiling mount evaporator units with electric heat. Insulate all necessary refrigerant pipe and drain lines. Repair low voltage wiring as needed. Verify the function of primary and secondary drain lines and repair as needed. Start up and verify the function of all units by super heat or sub cooling. Results to be documented and supplied to Tom Griffin, the HVAC Supervisor of Lamar University.
