Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work shall include peeling the existing single-ply to the existing insulation, mechanically fastening per ASCE 7, install one (1) layer of 1.7" poly-isocyanate insulation board four feet by four feet (4' x 4') in hot asphalt, install self-adhered base sheet per manufacturer’s recommendations, fully adhere three (3) plies of Type IV fiberglass felts, CTEM cap sheet, flood, and rock. Include wet poly-isocyanate insulation replacement (4,000 square feet). Install new metal panels and hat channel on parapet walls. Auger out any clogged drains. Install new expansion joint per detail. Install hurricane straps over units. Remove wood sleepers and replace with roof accessories (recycled rubber). Utilize ArrMaz Descent Asphalt Deodorizer in kettle according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Recertify lightning protection. Utilize retrofit drains. All metal should be stainless steel except for the wall panels and coping. Install wind clips. When signs of inclement weather are apparent, contractor shall have personnel on site. Cover vents to prevent rock from entering (no tape) when applying spec aggregate. Replace fifteen roof top HVAC units to include new curbs in conjunction with roof replacement.
