The 66th Force Support Squadron at Hanscom Air Force Base is seeking information and capabilities from potential contractors for the renovation of athletic Fields #1 and #4. The objective is to deliver safe, playable, and durable athletic fields that meet Air Force playability standards, ensure proper drainage, and achieve successful turf establishment. This RFI is intended to gather information from the industry to assist in the development of a potential future acquisition strategy anticipated to be classified under North American Industry Classification System (“NAICS”) Code 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors.
Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities statement that addresses the following:
Company Information: Company name, address, point of contact, email address, phone number, CAGE code, and business size status (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), Woman-Owned, etc.).
Experience: Provide a detailed description of your company’s experience in performing similar projects, specifically athletic field renovation and construction. Please include at least two (2) examples of projects completed within the last five (5) years of a similar scope and complexity.
PWS Feedback: Provide any feedback or suggestions on the attached Performance Work Statement (“PWS”). Feedback can include, but is not limited to feasibility of the requirements, the clarity of the tasks, and the 90-day period of performance.
