This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (supply) prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses in effect are IAW FAR, DFAR, AFFARS and all other related guidance.

This acquisition is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413, Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and a Product Service Code (PSC) 1710. The 2026 Small Business Size Standard is 1250 Employees.
Offers (Quotes) received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated IAW the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) pursuant to FAR Part 13 in the Combined Synopsis - Solicitation - FA481926Q0002 attachment.
The Contractor shall provide 40 Heavy Weight Fairlead Beam Assemblies.
Questions and Government Response: All questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted no later than 1:00 P.M. CST, February 06, 2026. Any questions that are received in conjunction with this solicitation and the corresponding responses by the Government will be posted as an Amendment to System for Award Management (SAM), website: www.sam.gov.
Contractors shall submit all quotes by February 17, 2026 @ 01:00 PM CST electronically by emailing the Contract Specialist, Amn Cristopher Santana at cristopher.santana_castro@us.af.mil and the Contracting Officer, Benjamin Spear at benjamin.spear.1@us.af.mil, and with the subject line "FA481926Q0002 - Quote". Further instructions can be found in the addendum to FAR 52.212-1 in the attached combo.
The heavy weight fairlead beam assembly is an integral part of the Aircraft Arresting System (AAS). The fairlead beam directs the purchase tape path, and are installed on the runway shoulder to remove the energy absorber outside the mandatory zone of frangibility away from the runway centerline.The contractor shall furnish all required parts, equipment, material and labor in accordance with in accordance with all applicable codes, specifications, and industry/federal standards to Civil Engineer Maintenance Inspection Repair Team (CEMIRT) at Tyndall AFB, FL.
Any company/product provider that is chosen shall have or obtain First Article Testing (FAT) approval for this part.
