See the updated Statement of Work (SOW), dated 1/29/26, for the complete updates. Below is the high-level summary of changes. Additionally, the due date has been extended to 2/6/2026 at 2:00 pm CST. There are no other changes to the solicitation. Page 3 - Updated barge requirements specifying it can be a minimum 2-point spud barge. Page 3 - Added requirements for handrails and toilet facilities. Page 4 - Added a sentence to the safety section about stopping work and moving the barge to calm waters during unsafe wave action. Page 5 - Added a sentence to the drilling operations section about stopping work and moving the barge to calm waters if wave action makes drilling unsafe or infeasible. ****Under this notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to rent a barge.****GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS: In this acquisition The Government is seeking vendors to rent a barge. In order to submit a quote, your firm must register with sam.gov, as a pre-requirement to do business with the federal government and prior to registering with the DoD Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)system. Your firm must register with PIEE in order to access the solicitation and must submit quote responses in PIEE.
