The objective of this requirement is the implementation of a subscription-based television system across all Phoenix Area Service Units that provides unique, culturally relevant health education video programming. The system shall be designed to connect American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN) to critical health education information, local programs, and services available in community settings throughout the Phoenix Area.
The subscription-based television system shall encourage viewer engagement through culturally reflected, community-connected programming that is uplifting, empowering, and appropriate for a broad AI/AN audience. Content shall focus on wellness, prevention, and health promotion information that can be shared and applied by patients, visitors, and staff. The system must also allow for the timely sharing of messaging related to each service unit’s health information needs, events, closures, public health notices, and other community information as deemed necessary by the Phoenix Area IHS.
