General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space:
State: Maryland
City: Silver Spring
Delineated Area: Starting at the intersection of 16th Street and Spring Street, travel northeast on Spring Street and follow Spring Street until it turns into Cedar Street; follow Cedar Street to Wayne Avenue; travel southwest on Wayne Avenue to Fenton Street; travel south on Fenton Street to Burlington Avenue; travel west on Burlington Avenue, across Georgia Avenue where it turns into 13th Street; continue west on 13th Street to Eastern Avenue NW; travel northwest on Eastern Avenue NW to the traffic circle; continue north on 16th Street, ending at Spring Street

Additional Requirements:
- Offered space must be contiguous on one floor and must be located on the 2nd floor or higher.
- Offered space must be able to accommodate two means of egress.
- Offered space must be able to accommodate a private, in-suite restroom, for the sole use of the tenants.
- Offered space must have a 9’-0” finished ceiling throughout space, and at least 10’-0” finished ceiling in 600 sq ft of office on corner window wall.
- Offered space cannot be in the same building that houses law enforcement agencies or businesses.
- Offered buildings shall not be within immediate vicinity of residential buildings or hotels.
- Offered buildings/properties are subject to a risk/vulnerability assessment. The outcome of the assessment may result in the building not being technically compliant.
Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 1-percent-annual chance floodplain (formerly referred to as “100-year” floodplain).
Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Expressions of interest must include building name and address, 1/8-inch scale drawings which reflects existing conditions of offered space, proposed parking plan, available ABOA square feet offered and rental rate per ABOA square foot, Common Area Factor(s) for available space by floor, if applicable, Owner’s name and address and written statement from owner that the representative has legal authority to provide information on the property.
