Specifications include, but are not limited to:The contractor shall install all planting and hardscaping materials in accordance with the drawing titled “Landscaping Repairs Bio-retention area F Sheet C8.1” as prepared by George, Miles & Buhr and last revised 8/23/16. All requirements of the referenced drawing are made part of the contract and must be adhered to by the contractor. 2.The contractor shall remove all old dead vegetation and properly dispose of the items not incorporated in the work. 3.He shall prepare the areas for plantings and hardscape materials and execute the installation. Prior to planting the vegetative materials the area shall be properly fertilized to ensure proper survival and growth of the planted materials. 4.All trees and other vegetative materials shall be properly staked and restrained to prevent wind or other damage during the rooting process. The staking shall be removed by the contractor at the end of the warrantee period. 5.The stone shall be placed over the required filter cloth and the placement shall restore the original shape and depth of the bio-retention plan. 6.The hardwood mulch shall be placed in the required areas to restore the original shape and depth of the bio-retention plan
