ATF is the primary federal law enforcement agency with fire and explosive related jurisdiction that conducts critical incidents, Post Fired and Post Blast, Origin and Cause Investigative Training. ATF National Academy trains its agents, other federal agencies, State and local Public Safety personnel as well as international students in the Origin of Cause phase of the Fire and Explosives Investigation. This training conducted at FLETC consists of Special Agents Basic Training (SABT) classes, state and local classes (various advanced technical and investigative programs) and (advanced) International classes. To facilitate the delivery of these classes, and reinforce classrooms concepts and retention of investigative principles, practical exercises are conducted wherein the students observe live fire demonstrations and conduct investigation of the fire and/or explosive events.
This requirement is a total small business set-aside and is being evaluated using lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) procedures. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12 & 13., as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
