The Naval Health Clinic Hawaii requires an emergency mass notification system to effectively communicate with and notify staff members in emergency and routine cases. Mass Warning Notification Systems are an integral part of emergency response and recovery operations for any emergency or natural disaster. The Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command, Pearl Harbor (NMRTCPH), Emergency Management Plan NMRTCPHINST 3440.17E has several Support and Functional Annexes that require Mass Warning Notification, notably: Support Annex A: Command and Control Plan, Support Annex D: Communications Plan, Functional Annex A: Mass Notification /Personnel Accountability Response. NMRTCPH consists of five geographically separated clinics. In the event of any emergency or natural disaster, Mass Warning Notification Systems are the quickest way for NMRTCPH Command and Control to issue warnings and alerts to staff.
