This Source Sought Notice to determine the capabilities of both Small and Large business firms. Small firms inserted in performing this work are strongly urged to respond to the Notice. Two or more small firms capable of performing this work will help to guide the acquisition strategy and influence potential set-aside. Responses to this Source Sought Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. This NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is for market research purposes only.
No basis for claim against the Government shall arises as a result of a response to this Source Sought Notice. The Government will not pay for information or comments provided and will not recognize any cost associated with the submission of responses or comments.
Project Description:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District is seeking information on potential sources that have the capability to provide maintenance and dredging services to St. Joseph (Outer) Harbor, located in Berrien County, Michigan and Holland (Outer) Harbor, located in Ottawa County, Michigan. Contractor is expected to Mobilize dredge to both St. Joseph and Holland (Outer) Harbors. Contractor is expected to Mobilize dredge to both St. Joseph and Holland (Outer) Harbors.
St. Joseph Outer Dredge will take place within the stationing: -25+00 to - 14+00. Nearshore Placement the in the 8'-12' contour.
Holand Outer Dredge will take place within the stationing: -14+00 to -8+50, Nearshore placement the in the 8'-12' contour. Demobilized when dredging work at both harbors is completed.
