This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The United States Air Force (USAF) AEWS Program Management Office is conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to perform a comprehensive structural analysis on the radar towers supporting the AN/FPS-117 radar system. This analysis is required to support the planned installation of new, modern radomes. The purpose of this RFI is to gain a better understanding of industry capabilities, inform the acquisition strategy, and refine the requirements for a potential future solicitation. The Government is seeking feedback on the technical approach, potential contracting structures, and logistical challenges associated with this effort.
