The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), California Volcano Science Center (VSC) is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified businesses capable of providing a High-Volume Carbon Coater for for use in the Electron Microbeams Labs at Menlo Park to support the analytical needs of the scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electron probe microanalyser (EPMA). Proposed unit must meet the minimum technical specifications attached, and all parts interchangeable (including sputter head) with the Safematic CCU-010 HV.
