Specifications include, but are not limited to:Contractors and their duties Cleaning should be done 3 days a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The exact hours are to be determined by the contractor. Cleaning will be between the hours of 6pm to 6am. No work will be required on legal holidays. The contractor shall so establish his work pattern that the offices are clean and orderly to the NDDOT’s satisfaction. The contractor shall put all waste in plastic bags furnished by the NDDOT. The contractor shall put the waste in the dumpsters furnished. The NDDOT shall furnish all necessary materials, tools, and equipment. The contractor will need to provide their own transportation to and from the facility. The contractor shall be responsible for liability resulting from his or her own negligence. No minors will be allowed in the building or on Department of Transportation property. The contractor shall be considered an independent contractor and not an employee of the NDDOT for any purpose, such as worker’s compensation, medical insurance, etc. The contractor must be familiar with what chemicals or compounds to use and how to use them safely. All cleaning supplies must be used in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. The contractor must provide names of all key holders to the Williston District and the list must be maintained in a current status. Each person carrying keys must complete an Issue and Return of DOT property Form. SFN 50332 which will be provided for you. The form will be kept in the Williston District office
