The Corps of Engineers has a requirement for replacement of the asphalt shingles on Building 265 at Fort Riley, Kansas to photovoltaic (PV) shingles. The building is single-story, built in 1904, and is considered a historic facility. It requires solar shingles roof to demonstrate the efficiency and reliability, and associated resilience of advanced photovoltaic (PV) shingles. The work of this contract is to replace the existing building asphalt shingles with solar (PV) shingles and associated monitoring systems.
Quoters shall provide sufficient information for the Government to determine its level of confidence in the ability of the Quoter to satisfy the requirements of the RFQ based on an assessment of:
- Contractor certifications of the ability to install Tesla branded solar (PV) shingles
- Relevant Past and Current Performance
