The objective of this Retreat is to be held at a beachfront hotel or resort, with the intention of promoting relationship enhancement
activities, resilience and emphasizing the importance of allocating time to relax with spouses and colleagues.
General Performance Requirements:
Our Retreat requires a hotel or resort that will provide a beach-front property to set the scene for a relaxing and stress-free zone away from the stressors of a workspace.
It must be within 25 miles of Duke Field and within 1 mile of recreational activities.
The location must offer, 50 bed nights on Friday, 15 August 2025 and 50 bed nights on Saturday, 16 August 2025. All rooms reserved should have at least 2 queen beds at or below the current government Per Diem rate and be nonsmoking rooms. Out of those rooms, at least 4 of the rooms should be beach front to accommodate VIP guests, to include a nationally recognized speaker.
The location must have a ballroom with a capacity of at least 100 people with crescent table setups and the option to add floor to ceiling air walls that can split the ballroom into three separate areas on Saturday, 16 August 2025 and Sunday, 17 August 2025.
We require a location that has audio/visual options with Dual Projection Cable Split, 1 Screens, 1 LCD Projectors, for Saturday and Sunday sessions and an Audio-Visual technician for Saturday sessions.
All the session areas should be on the same floor as the hotel common areas due to ease of navigating the property.
We need a dedicated private area for facilitator prep space and a separate private area for coordinator preparation and materials storage.
We need a hotel that can offer a buffet Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner on Saturday, 16 August 2025 and a buffet Breakfast on Sunday, 17 August 2025. Also, snacks and refreshments on Saturday, 16 August 2025.
They must be able to provide appetizers plus a reserved space on Friday evening for a meet & greet networking hour.
