The National Guard Bureau, Operational Contracting Division (AQ-C) is issuing this Sources Sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to provide force plate musculoskeletal assessment systems with associated delivery, installation, and annual software subscription. Of particular importance to this research is the ability, either organically or via custom programming, to incorporate functionality to track Soldier performance during the Army Fitness Test (Max Deadlift [weight measurement], Hand Release Pushup [count], Sprint-Drag-Carry [time], Plank [time], and 2-mile Run [time]) in a field environment utilizing mobile devices (tablet app, cell phone app, etc.) incorporated into the force plate software package. The software should also have the functionality to capture Soldier Height, Weight, and body measurements and provide the inputter with an indication of compliance/non-compliance with Army standards and calculated body fat percentage.
The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition.
