This is NOT a request for proposal. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Submission of any information to this RFI survey is purely voluntary. Government assumes no financial responsibility for any cost incurred associated to this request for capability information.
This is a Sources Sought announcement. The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB, FL, is issuing this RFI for the purpose of locating qualified firms that would have the capabilities to provide management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary for Mess Attendant at Tyndall AFB for the 325th Wing.
The Government intends to execute a twelve month base contract with four 12 months options years that includes coverage for labor all personnel, and other items or services necessary to perform food service attendant and support services at Tyndall AFB. Contractor tasks include, but not limited to, the following: serving and replenishing food; cleaning interior and exterior of facilities, equipment, and utensils; maintain equipment and repair as required; prepare raw vegetables and fruits for the self-serve bars and use by military cooks; preparing cold cuts and cheeses for the use of military cooks at the sandwich/deli bar; provide servers for ethnic and/or specialty food bars; make and wrap sandwiches; cut and portion pastry items, and cashier services.
The designated NAICS Code is 722310 and a Size Standard of $47.0 Mil.
Your response shall include the following information:
- Size of company (i.e., 8(a))
- Relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back to the last three (3) years and your company's capability to do this type of work.
- Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition.
- The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is currently being drafted and will not be provided with the sources sought
- Any additional small business representations and certifications (ie. SDVOSB, WOSB, HubZone Certified, etc.)
- Any interest in participating in a site visit (The government will provide more information in the event one is scheduled)
It is imperative that business concerns responding to this source sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately.
