Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed below. Note that the specific requirements are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation.
he US Geological Survey (USGS) Geology, Energy and Minerals Science Center (GEMSC) requires the implementation of a one year-service agreement for government owned Hitachi SU-5000.
Specifications/Salient Characteristics:
The following salient characteristics are required:
Provide service contract of the Hitachi SU-5000 for one year with Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. which includes:
a) One preventative maintenance visit per year designed to assure the long-term performance and reliability of the instrument.
b) Unlimited emergency service whenever the instrument becomes inoperable or fails to perform to specifications due to a failure associated with the instrument.
c) Replacement of vacuum roughing pump oil and filter only
Responses: All interested parties should notify this office via e-mail within the posted date. Responses shall include:
(I) To what extent each of the specifications can be met.
(II) Include your type of business (i.e. commercial, academia), whether your organization is classified as a large or small business.
