The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to install the data and voice communications infrastructure in building (BLDG) 5800 as defined in this Statement of Work (SOW).
The project will require drilling into building walls for the data cables. The building requires fifty-nine (59) Category 6 (CAT6) Local Area Network (LAN) drop consisting of thirty (30) cables for data and utilizing the Fort Bliss color code; red CAT 6 plenum rated cable for Data in 1-inch EMT at the user end; twenty-nine cables for data and utilizing Fort Bliss color code; blue CAT6 plenum rated cable for Data in 1-inch EMT at the user end. The building will also require fifty-nine (59) RJ45 jack with the faceplate.
Contractor shall install grounding with correct hardware material and attaching the proper size American Wire Gauge (AWG) cable lead from the Bus bar. Cable tray, racks and conduits will need to be grounded and bonded in accordance with IAW I3A standards.
The Contractor shall install the LAN drop, and install the associated material IAW the Installation, Information, Infrastructure Architecture (I3A) and UFC-3-580-01 technical criteria. The contractor will need to run one (1) 1-inch EMT conduit to the specified location (see diagram for location). Install the LAN drop in 1-inch EMT conduit at the specified location indicated using CAT6 plenum rated cable. Red CAT6 for SIPR data / Blue CAT6 for Seagull network with the use of the color specified CAT 6 jacks to meet I3A and BISCI installation guidelines. The Contractor shall install and terminate all cables on the patch panels in the communication room (see diagram for location). Fire-stop all wall penetrations, openings, and EMT wherever needed. All equipment shall be labeled; this includes any existing and new equipment installed. Label everything IAW per I3A.
