Accordingly, this RFI constitutes neither a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), nor a guarantee that one will be issued by the Government in the future; furthermore, it does not commit the Government to contract for any services described herein. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is not, at this time, seeking proposals or quotes, and therefore, will not accept, review, or evaluate unsolicited proposals or quotes received in response hereto. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted because of this request. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred for responses to this RFI. The information provided may be used by VA in developing its acquisition strategy and Performance Work Statement (PWS) or Product Description (PD). Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary; however, any information received shall become the property of the Government and will not be returned to the respondent. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted, or competition sensitive information contained in their response. This is a request for information and does not obligate the Government in any way, nor does it commit the Government to any specific course of action. Product information, brochures, part numbers, and/or other description information may be included with the submission. Requirements: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Indianapolis VA Medical Center (VAMC) is committed to enhancing communication and health education for Veterans and employees by utilizing innovative digital solutions. As part of this commitment, the Indianapolis VAMC has previously installed a proprietary PatientPoint health care communication digital signage system, effectively replacing an outdated and unsupported digital messaging system. To ensure continuous operation and effectiveness of this system, VA has a requirement for brand name PatientPoint Annual Subscription to include licenses, unlimited access to an online health communication digital signage system that is customizable for future expansion, remote maintenance support, training, access to a remote Customer Service Representative, and an annual subscription fee for cellular hardware connectivity. This commercial off-the-shelf system employs Brightsign media players coded specifically for PatientPoint monitors. Additionally, this specialized system allows for unlimited capability to create custom multi-media (images and/or video) messages for use on vendor-provided monitors. All monitors must be capable of operating independently and be controlled remotely, the PatientPoint annual subscription for cellular hardware connectivity. The PatientPoint Annual Subscription includes comprehensive remote maintenance support which encompasses 24x7 technical support and troubleshooting for PatientPoint devices. The Contractor shall ensure the prompt replacement of defective equipment to minimize downtime. Additionally, the subscription must offer remote monitoring of the equipment and system health to proactively address any issues and ensure optimal performance. The period of performance for PatientPoint annual subscription, maintenance, and support shall consist of a 12-month base and four 12-month option periods to be exercised at the Government s discretion. Submittal Information: It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort note their interest and provide indication of their respective capabilities to provide a solution that meets the requirements described above and within the Draft Product Description. Marketing material(s) will not be accepted as an indication of capability. Only responses related to the Government s requirements as listed above will be considered. The preliminary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) assigned to this requirement is 541519 with a size standard of $34.0 million.
