The Contractor shall perform all tasks and duties as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) for C-5M Super Galaxy. The purpose of the PWI Program is to permanently repair the wing forward beam lower spar caps at all PWI locations. Prior to conducting the structural repairs, 18-point jacking is required to zero-load the wing structures on one C-5 aircraft. The C-5 PDM does not currently have an operational Jack-Weigh system to complete the required tasks. This repair will be required for the entire C-5M fleet, which requires multiple systems and equipment. The contractor shall provide a full cost breakdown and separately priced high-fidelity quote and proposal to AFLCMC/WLS. This effort will be sole source to Intercomp, CAGE: SW667
This system must meet specific critical performance requirements and configuration for military aircraft. Must have wireless capability and components interchangeable between Intercomp kits and components. The following specific technical functions must be met:
a. Ability to store calibration at load cell with analog to digital conversion at the load cell.
b. Ability to assign and reassign ID and channel without the need to recalibrate.
c. Interchangeable load cells with radios, modules, and CPUs of same brand for cross functionality of components between sets to include currently owned load cells.
d. Ability to store load cell output in non-volatile memory whenever cells are zeroed.
e. Ability to display current weight when powering on when load cells are under load.
f. Hardened CPU that can display weight of up to 18 load cells. CPU must have the ability to communicate wirelessly, hardwired, and operate from AC and internal DC sources.
g. Radio modules must communicate with CPU from a range of 200 ft indoors and 300 ft line of sight powered from alkaline and rechargeable batteries.
