Requirements: 2 each Multipurpose Wheelchair Washers, installation and Related Cleaning Solutions
- Needs to be extra tall at least 60 inches for cleaning high-back and geriatric chairs.
- Must be capable of washing 2 chairs at a time and be capable of cleaning commode chairs, shower chairs, and other durable medical equipment.
- Unit construction needs to be made of stainless steel for the cabinet and utilize rust-free nongalvanized plumbing while using solid-state electronic controls. and include four 360-degree swiveling heavy duty castors with brakes.
- Safety features should include a locking door and emergency stop and door switches.
- Must use a freshwater system for wash & rinse cycle without re-using water to maintain a high degree of cleanliness/sterility for equipment.
- Must use two thermally protected rust-free pumps, preferably rated at ¾ hp for the wash pump, and a ¼ hp for a drain pump.
